Salvador Mejia
Coach Mejia is beginning his 4th year at Sulphur Springs High School and his 6th
year coaching. He graduated from Como Pickton High School in 2007. He earned his
bachelor’s degree from Commerce A&M with a major in Education and a minor in
Spanish. He previously taught for 2 years on Como Pickton ISD and coached for 1,
and also taught 1 year at Rains ISD. Coach Mejia is the assistant Boys Soccer coach
and teaches Spanish 1 at the high school. Coach Mejia is married to Rachel Mejia,
and they have 2 daughters Olive 7 years old and Daisy 5 years old and a 6-monthold
boy named Sabastian.
