The Sulphur Springs Lady Wildcats got back on track Friday with a four-set victory over the Paris Lady Wildcats. In a game where each set was tightly contested, Sulphur Springs would make the key plays needed, ultimately coming out on top. The first set would see both teams get back and forth, as they traded points and fought hard. In the end, Sulphur Springs would win the first set 28-26, taking the early lead. The following set would be more of the same, as each team continued to put forth their best effort. Despite a strong showing from Sulphur Springs, Paris would ultimately win the second set 25-19, tying the score at 1-1. The third set was also hard fought, as both teams showed no signs of slowing down their strong play. Sulphur Springs would win the third set 25-21, retaking the lead at 2-1. The fourth set was once again a battle, as both teams continued to play strong. Ultimately, Sulphur Springs would win the fourth set 25-18, capping off a fourset win. With the win, the Lady Wildcats are now 2-1 in district and 17-15 overall. They resumed action Tuesday, welcoming Pittsburg Lady Pirates to Wildcat Gym.
